Not bad, but sometimes it takes two
Pros: doesn't smell like anything, goes on smooth, totally clear, paraben free
Cons: might be a good idea to have an extra stick at work
So when I say it takes two, I mean it takes two applications. I'm pretty active on weekends but during the work day, I don't move around a ton (hooray for being desk bound *cough* sarcasm *cough*). Even on the stationary days, I find that I could probably do with a second application of Lafe's Natural/Organic Deodorant. It's not that I smell bad per se. At least I sure hope not! It's just I think I'd be more secure in my aroma if I slathered on a second round.
I think perhaps part of it is that Lafe's doesn't smell like anything. At least the kind I have doesn't. There's no scent to it, which I guess I'm used to from all those insanely fragrant deodorants like Secret, etc. So that means there's no cover up on the off chance you do get a little al naturale fragrance going on. That's both a good thing and a bad thing, I suppose. Mostly good. It's just something to get used to.
Lafe's is also totally clear which is a major bonus. You don't get any funky residue or white schmutz on your clothes - that's right. You no longer have to do that weird trick of folding up your shirt half way when you put the thing on so you only get deodorant on the INSIDE of your shirt....ah back in the days of 6th grade gym class....
But I digress. Lafe's goes on smooth and isn't sticky (which is something I found with Tom's of Maine deodorant). So all in all, it's really not bad. But maybe next time I'll give their lavender scent a try.
