Pros: Makes a habit of drinking water
Cons: Heavy

I have the 40 oz Klean Kanteen and its perfect for my day to day use. It fits perfectly in my scooter and gym/hockey bag. Its just enough water for a few hours of activity. The stainless steel helps with the average day to day wear and tear that my kanteen has already recieved.

I really have been using my kanteen every day since I bought it. I dont worry about leaving my bottle in my car now that I can rest assured that Im not gonna have a plastic bottle leaching anything but water...into my water. Also, now that I have my Kanteen, I drink more than my daily suggested amount of water.Where as before I would get close or Id be under my suggested daily amount.

The one problem with this product is it is a little heavy if youre planning on ccarrying it around in your backpack or by hand. Although if this is a problem just get a smaller one, or a camelback. If not, enjoy!!!

Pros: Easy to use and carry - saves $$$
Cons: ...uhm... can't think of any.
Have been using the model with the sport top - has an integrated handle in the top as well.  LOVE this "canteen" vs. a couple others I have tried.  The sport top seems rugged enough to last a good long time as well.  Keeps me drinking more water instead of other "stuff", and keeps me away from using plastic bottles or even plastic re-fillable types.  Highly recommend.  Even tho any of these bottles - from most brands as well - cost from $14 to $20, they pay for themselves in weeks if you were a bottled water drinker... assuming u bought in bulk.  If you buy by vending or fast-food water bottles, pays for itself in like 5 days... LOL!

I love my Klean Kanteen. I'm somewhat afraid to write a review of it because of the general obsession people have with making sure there is absolutely-absolutely nothing-nothing even remotely toxic anywhere in any miniscule part of the bottle.

It's a stainless steel bottle. The cap is stainless steel. Yes, the outside of the cap is plastic, and there is a slim o-ring that makes a seal on the inside. Are there meta-flouro-parabens in any of that? I don't know. I don't really care. I probably get more plastic toxicity from one Peet's coffee plastic lid than I will from drinking out of this canteen for the rest of my life.

I mean, yeesh. Everywhere I go the building has a sign up saying "This area contains chemicals known by the state of California to cause cancer" and I'm going to worry whether the o-ring on my water bottle is leeching 0.00000000000000000000000002 parts per million of plastic into my water? Maybe if I were planning to live forever.

Sorry. This thing is well made. And it's way better than drinking out of a plastic bottle. I don't really need to know any more than that.

great substitute for plastic bottles.  however, docked one star because i like to drink more water during the day than what the kanteen accommodates...so sometimes i end up having to buy a plastic bottle during the day, anyway!

i was just given this as a christmas stuffer, and i love it.  i used to bring water everyday in less eco-friendly containers...buying large bottles of it near work -- horrible, i know.  one reason i didn't use nalgenes or other such reusable containers before is that a) they make the water taste like plastic and/or b) they leak through the top.  but the klean kanteen is perfect.  it doesn't leak, is super tough, and doesn't make my water taste like anything but...clean water!  i love it.

Pros: good size choices, easy to clean, keeps water cool, wide mouth
Cons: can't think of any

I bought this bottle to carry water in for the little children in my Palo Alto preschool.  This bottle is bigger than the Sigg  bottle I was using so that is better for us.  The mouth is wide enough to add some ice cubes for a really hot day.  It is light weight, easy to clean and all stainless steel which means no toxics leaching into the water.  I give this product two thumbs up.

Pros: portable, durable, keeps cold
Cons: not for hot beverages

I have been using (and loving) an REI bullet bottle for my morning coffee for a while, but wanted something to carry around cold water that wouldn't give it a hint of coffee flavoring. A friend swooped in for Christmas and got me a Klean Kanteen.

While I can't stand the usage of "K's" when "C's" make sense, I like it a lot otherwise. Once you start, it makes you feel ridiculous ever reaching for a plastic bottle of water.  Good stuff.

Pros: Easy to carry and clean
Cons: sweats and conducts heat

I was shopping for one of these for awhile.  I saw that various companies were having trouble keeping up with demand.  Low and behold, I found a Kleen Kanteen at a local thrift store.  You can't beat a price of 99cents.

I've been using it for a few months now.  It cleans up really easy.  It also has a good "lip" on it.  This makes drinking from it really smooth.  Unlike some of the BPA bottles I've used in the past that felt like they would flood over if I wasn't carefull.

The one I have has a cap with a hole on it which can be used to clip onto a carbiner clip.  It also fits around my finger for easy toting.

The only things I don't like are that it does sweat condensation and you can't put hot products in it.  But those are small things only.

I really like this water bottle and would recommend it to everyone.

Pros: made from stainless steel, comes in several sizes and colors
Cons: not indistructable, dents pretty easily if you're not careful

The Klean Kanteen water bottles are a really great choice for a stainless steel bottle.  They're easy to drink from (even if you don't have one of those sippy tops) as they have a pretty small mouth - so you're not in danger of spilling all over yourself.  Now...still be careful in a moving vehicle.  I've definitely had accidental sloshings...but oh well.  It's just water.

In any case, it's a great basic bottle.  It doesn't have the same insulation powers as the REI Bullet Bottle nor does it have the same aesthetic appeal as the EarthLust water bottles.  But all in all, if you're in the market for a reusable water bottle, this one's a solid contender.

Pros: Ripped, can take a beating, stainless steel, smooth, badass
Cons: not subsidized, can get lost

In a bottle gang war, my 40oz Kleen Kanteen would come out with a couple dents after shredding through the frontin' plastic punks. My bottle is TOUGH, and after the death match that happens in my backpack everyday as I mt. bike and run all over the place, it comes out ready to serve me up some nice un-plasticy tasting water.

Pros: Good quality stainless steel
Cons: Not transparent like plastic
I have been using the expensive plastic bottles, expensive aluminum bottles with a nagging worry on all the health risks involved (BPA, Alzheimer's, hormone imbalance, cancer...) for my family, especially my children.

It was a real relief when I found Klean Kanteen. Staying in Brunei, I am very lucky to find an online shop (www.kooldepot.com) in Singapore with as wide a selection of Klean Kanteen products as the US. I can get my bottles (and accessories) delivered in less than a week).

The bottles are so versatile. I have various caps and depending on the activity, I just need to change the caps. The small bottles are handy for my children and sometimes when I can to go out light, I will use the kid's bottle and put it into my handbag. In Brunei, there are times when I cannot get clean water and I'll have a few big bottles of water (purified at home) in the car at any time.

The colours are so fresh and cute and they make excellent gifts for friend and family. Meaningful gifts are hard to find and is normally a real headache for me. These Klean Kanteens leaves lasting impression as gifts and they get used all the time.

Absolutely happy and everytime I get cool, clean tasting water from my Klean Kanteen, I feel great.

Pros: Keeps Me Hyrdrated,
Cons: Heavy, Loud (I want a cozy or sleeve for it), Wide Mouth

I am a Klean Kanteen evangelist.  It's probably the only thing that keeps me drinking water regularly.  I think there is an added bonus that I get to drink awesome water from a reverse-osmosis system.  I am now spoiled and water bougie.  Nonetheless, I can thank/blame the Klean Kanteen folks for that.

But I wish the mouth was just a smidgen smaller, and that they came with a cozy or that more products would standardize a slot for them so that I had a place to put them.  It can be very loud walking home, as I have a wallet chain. When it hangs from my Timbuktu, it clanks A LOT. My friends clown me for it, but whatever. I like having my water handy!

I love this bottle!  I've started to replace my old, scratched up, worn out Specialized water bottles with Klean Kanteens.  While the Specialized bottles are BPA free they aren't recyclable locally, they do eventually get too scuzzy and they don't bear road rash well.  The 27oz size fits my bikes Profile Design Kages perfectly (which admittedly was a concern as I didn't want to be forced to scrap them and purchase the KK cage  I tend to buy durable and upgradable products and the 27oz Klean Kanteen certainly fits the bill.
