Pros: filters and makes good coffee
Cons: "If you care" brand and messaging
I'm all for making a million small changes that aggregate into mass change, but when these coffee filters stared me in the face saying "If you Care" as the slogan, it really rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, they are unbleached which certainly saves the unnecessary use of harsh chemicals to make the filters white, but there's no mention of use of any recycled materials anywhere on the packaging or the website, and they're just coffee filters! Anyway - they serve their purpose well, but as we've all discussed on this site many times, the environmental movement will see much higher adoption through pragmatism and education than through "If you Care you use our coffee filter" type guilt.
