Pros: low dust, controls odors, minimal tracking, safe materials
Cons: moderately good clumping, some dust, some tracking
This litter isn't the best in any one aspect. I have seen others with stronger clumping. And I have seen others with less tracking. However, if I were to pick an all-around winner, this would be it. It performs pretty well in all the important ways:
- low trackability of litter through the rest of the house
- good odor control
- not too much dust created
- clumps okay
- materials are natural and safe
I have no major complaints in any one of these departments. Every other litter I've tried always fails miserably in one of these areas. Feline Pine smells great and is totally natural but it tracks everywhere. Country Cat will not track at all but its clumping is miserably bad. Tidy Cat clumps great but contains unsafe chemicals.
There may not be a perfect litter, but Green Tea Leaves is pretty close. I've tried a bunch of brands and this is the one I come back to.
