Pros: Soakable

Cons: bunch at urine spot

I bought one pack of these and my family bought 2 others. These are actaully wonderful burp cloths and I'd never get anything else for that reason...But I also use these what they are originally made for. Cloth Diapering. I use the G-Diaper cover and these as inserts. They soak up great...except when they get wet they bunch up and are probably pretty uncomfortable. Although that might seem like a con...if your tring to start potty training that might be a pro as well. the more uncomfortable your child is maybe the greater chance they'll be happy to learn how to potty train.

Decent burp rag, not so great as a diaper

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: not very absorbant

I got these as burp rags when my daughter was born and used them solely for that until I started using cloth diapers. I used these to insert in my gdiapers while at home to save money and was not real imprssed. As a prefold these are far too thin to absorb much and as an insert or doubler they require too many to be efficient. I do on occasion use them as an outer when pinning an unbleached indian infant sized prefold though because they are larger in area and pin better on my daughter who is too big for infant sized UIP

starter cloth diaper

These were the first cloth diapers we used and they are adequate, but there are other prefolds out there that are much more absorbant than these and are about the same price. They are great in that they are fairly easy to find though.

Pros: works as a cloth diaper it'self or folded up as an insert.

Cons: not organic

I love our prefolds. I use to use them as cloth diapers with pins and when I got wrap covers and pinless cloth diapers i started using them as insterts instead. They can also be used as burb cloths and with a little bit of sewing mama pads ;-)

Great multi tool

Pros: great for burpcloths and bums

I like these because they are organic and a multi tool for any family with a little one. You can use it as a burp cloth, a diaper and then when the LO dosn't need it anymore you can use it as a rag to clean with.
