This air conditioner does a pretty good job of reaching a temperature you set it to fairly quick, although to be quite honest I never really ask it to get super cold on a hot day (I don't like the cold). It's a little silly that it comes with a remote, but that seems to be fairly normal/expected. It's not as noisy as some air conditioners I've lived with, which is nice although I still think it's noisy, and I appreciate that it has an energy saver mode that you can actually hear kicking in every so often.
