Frey Natural White Wine is a delicate, soft and flowery wine with a smooth finish; this wine complements vegetarian and Asian cuisine. Frey White Wine is made from a blend of CCOF certified organically grown grapes. This delicious wine is a great everyday table wine, a pleasure to purse and palate.

Organic- Contains naturally occurring sulfites, no sulfites added- no preservatives. A great everyday food wine. A blend of Butte County Chenin Blanc and Mendocino Chardonnay results in a medium-bodied wine with crisp acid and melon and pear fruit. Perfect for a picnic or a soup and salad dinner. Alcohol 13.7% by volume.

Pros: Cheap (about $8 at Trader Joes), organic, no added sulfites
Cons: Had a bit of an initial bite

										
										
We aren't huge wine drinkers- we usually stick to the sweet stuff, like Rieslings.  The bottle says this is a dry wine, so maybe that explains the initial tart shock.  After a few sips, it became less noticeable.  $8 isn't bad for a bottle of wine, but for organic wine, that seems like a steal.  Frey does have a variety of other organic wine types.  We'll probably try out some of the other kinds, and I would get this one again...and just brace myself a bit before that first sip.
