Freedom ONE Waterless Car Wash

Fredom ONE is a non-wax, water-based, organic-plant-based soap/ surfactant/ special proprietary polymer formula can be used on everything except the tires. The organic light soap & surfactants dissolve much of the harmful dirt on contact and the polymers wrap around it to protect from scratching. No wax means no more smearing on windows and no more white residue on rubber. This product is super easy to use and can be used on a wet or dry car. It is perfect for newer cars, but can be used as a maintainer of older ones too. We recommend using Freedom Original Formula on older cars first to remove the oxidation, water spots and other contaminates.

Freedom ONE creates a super slick and shiny surface that is virtually non-stick. Your car stays cleaner, longer. It is completely biodegradable, non-toxic, non hazardous, V.O.C. compliant, contains no petroleum distillates, and it is non-corrosive, anti-static, and completely safe to ship and use everyday. Here's the Material Safety Data Sheet
It is currently orange color with a new, citrus scent, similar to the original product.

This product comes in 1 to 11 concentrate and a full strength formulas. Freedom ONE was recently certified for use on aircraft, and is certified to conform to these scientific tests: The Sandwich corrosion test, The Acrylic crazing test, The paint softening test and the hydrogen embrittlement test. In other words, if it is certified to use on multi-million-dollar aircraft, it will do great things on your car.

How does Freedom Waterless Car Wash's Freedom ONE formula work? When sprayed on a dirty surface, the soaps, surfactants and lubrication agents break down the dirt, the polymers wrap around the particles and bond to the dirt. All of this breaks the bond it had with the surface. The microfiber towel soaks it all up and protects all of it from scratching. The second microfiber towel buffs the remaining residue into a brilliant shine that lasts for many months. It is safe to use on cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, and even a few household items like kitchen appliances, countertops and stainless steel. Just spray on, gently rub in and wipe off. That's it! Try some today.

This product can be used on all smooth surfaces. Do not use if the surface is excessively soiled, muddy or has caked on sand. It is a water-based product and can be used when the vehicle is wet or dry.

This product comes in 32oz., one-gallon and 4-gallon cases. We can easily customize this product with the color and scent of your choice. A minimum order of 55 gallons at full strength or 5 gallons of super concentrate is required to customize the product.

Pros: saves a ton of water, very nice bottle
Cons: none

I got some of this Freedom Car Wash in the second Huddler contest prize pack.  I tried it out for the first time this weekend, and really liked it.  Previously the waterless car wash I used was Ecotouch, so that's my basis for comparison.

I'd say that Ecotouch and Freedom were roughly equally effective.  I think the Freedom may have left my car looking a little shinier than the Ecotouch.  However, I noticed that it's pretty important to use the second microfiber towel to make sure all the Freedom residue is cleaned off, especially on the windows.  With the Ecotouch sometimes I just used one microfiber towel and it was fine.

One aspect I liked with the Freedom was the bottle.  The nozzle sprays the stuff really well - it takes fewer sprays to cover an area than the Ecotouch, and it comes out with more pressure.  Also the bottle is clear, so you can see exactly how much is in there, and the liquid is very colorful.  In comparison, the Ecotouch bottle is opaque white and the nozzle isn't as good.

Looking at the Freedom website, it looks like a bottle of the stuff is selling for $25 (although the original price is $35), which is a bit more than the Ecotouch.  I used about one-fifth of the bottle in washing my whole Prius, so it's about $5/wash - no more than your standard drive-thru car wash.

So overall it's good stuff.  Not sure if I'll buy Freedom or Ecotouch next time around.  Both are really good products that save a ton of water.

Pros: CLEANS POLISHS AND PROTECTS ALL IN ONE
Cons: NONE

THIS IS THE BEST PRODUCT EVER.  I LIKE TO GET THINGS DONE.  THIS GETS IT DONE.  I CAN CLEAN MY CAR IN 15 MIN.  THE BEST PART IS IT POLISHS WHILE IT CLEANS.  YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELEIVE IT.  I TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT.  IF YOU WANT A WATERLESS CAR WASH THIS IS THE ONE.

Pros: Good 'organic' exterior body cleaner.
Cons: ...needs elbow grease.

I rec'd this product thru the 2nd Huddler contest - cool product.  Has a citrus smell, even looks kinda like orange juice!  Cleans fairly good.  I found that I needed to put some 'elbow grease' into the cleaning process.  Recommend a good microfibre towel for use with this product.

Hey I got this product a about a month ago. Used it on my car and loved it. Normally I hate having to wash my car, but it's so easy to use, it doesn't smell, and I don't end up watering my driveway. I think it only took me 15 minutes to do my whole car and it's still clean.
