This bag is one of the best things I purchased in the last year. It is super cute (I got one with a weird dog-like creature on it) and you can get in a variety of colors and designs for everyone. It is very strong and light and looks durable (it's made of nylon). It is also rather big and will hold lots of stuff. The best thing about it, is that it folds in a very small bundle. This way, I can stick it in my purse and have a reusable bag any time, even when I make an impulse buy. This has definitely reduced the number of plastic bags I use. I love cloth bags, but they take a lot of space, so I only take them with me when I go grocery shopping.
The only problem is, I find them a bit pricey. Mine cost $10, because it has this fancy design on it and I bought it at a museum. But you can get a bundle of these on Amazon.com, which I think brings it down to $7 a piece. They make great presents, I plan on buying a bunch of these and giving them to people.
