Pros: provides companies that supply green goods and services
Cons: does not have many lower priced items geared toward financially strapped

I like Co-op America's goal (now renaming itself to Green America). Great to have a resource and way to market these otherwise unknown products and services to a greater market.

My beef with a fair amount of the green market is its often high prices that are not always affordable to the real people who stuggle to pay ordinary bills. Nothing personal against the Green Pages. Good goal but not everyone can afford the products and services.

Pros: Variety of different size businesses and all types of services listed by location

The thing I like most about National Green Pages is that the companies listed are screened and must meet green and ethical standards.  It's not just a directory of business that pay a listing fee.  All businesses must make a commitment to eco-friendly, social justice and fair trade product or services.  There's all size companies from small indie businesses own by just one person to huge internationally known companies - I consult my yearly issue for everything from household goods, gifts and legal help.

Pros: Aggregates all types of green businesses. Easy to use.

I have found some excellent and very exciting new businesses using this guide. I gave gift subscriptions to many of my relatives as it is very inexpensive and a fabulous way to promote a greener economy and choose better goods.  They are also very active in the promotion of Fair Trade items, which is huge to me as well!! A+
