Pros: The birds like sitting on it when it isn't turning.

Since then I have been through 2 inverters and due to a faulty shorting clip, the unit sheered off in high winds and the top had to be replaced. “I purchased this system a couple months ago so I have had time to see how it works. When there is enough wind it works great but in low wind conditions it actually drains power from the batteries. For instance, my solar panels had my batteries full and it was dumping into the loader when a slow wind came up and immediatly stopped the dumping.
