Brush with Bamboo - Ecological Bamboo Toothbrush Family Pack

Clean, simple, sustainable quality.

jtangerine

Pros: Bristles vary in stiffness, ergonomic handle, handles moisture well.

Cons: At very high temperatures some bristle falls out

The bamboo toothbrush has a clean design, does not absorb water or warp when wet for a long time. The bristles stay intact until you put it in hot water for a long time. It seems like the tip of the brush has harder bristles so you reach the back teeth better. I was worried that after a while the handle would have a strange odor, but it does not happen.

Tom's of Maine Natural Antiplaque Tartar Control & Whitening Toothpaste

Tom's of Maine Natural Antiplaque Tartar Control & Whitening Toothpaste

“While the fennel has the best flavor, I think in general these toothpastes are a little dull-tasting and never quite make my mouth feel really clean, especially in the fresh breath area. After a garlicky meal, you'd be better off brushing with baking soda and then chewing fennel seeds, which costs about 1/20th of the price and is 20 times more effective. Other "natural" brands...” --anniehart

Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste

Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste

“I think my favorite thing about this toothpaste is that if you happen to eat something shortly after brushing your teeth, you don't get the strong yuck factor you do with most toothpastes! This is due to the exceptionally mild flavor of most Tom's toothpastes (some are stronger than others...). This is a little hard to get used to at first, but after using Tom's for a couple of...” --nitedreamer

Tom's of Maine Natural Whole Care Toothpaste Gel

Tom's of Maine Natural Whole Care Toothpaste Gel

“I first forayed into the realm of natural products with body care products, such as this oral care toothpaste from Tom's of Maine. I have to admit that I've been hooked on this product and many other natural care products, not only for their eco-chicness, but also for how well they work in comparison to commercial brands! This toothpaste is an opaque gel and smells phenomenal (I...” --greenhybrid

Miessence Natural Toothpaste

Miessence Natural Toothpaste

“ I hate minty toothpaste so paid £9.50 for a tube of this lemon toothpaste. How on earth can they call it lemon when it tastes overwhelmingly of salt? I thought it was dreadful.  Also the tube is off-putting it looks like handcream!!  Such a disappointment. ” --alice

Tom's of Maine Natural Whole Care Toothpaste

“Yes. That's right. It's not blue and sparkly and it doesn't taste like bubble gum. But I'm okay with that. It certainly does the trick in getting your teeth nice and clean. This toothpaste doesn't leave you feeling gritty or slimy at all. It's a nice consistency and doesn't foam excessively so you don't end up with toothpaste all over your face (and...” --cristina7

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda For Oral Care

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda For Oral Care

“After finding failure in Tom's of Maine toothpaste, I decided to try making my own with this stuff, vegetable glycerin, and mint extract.  It took a little getting used to, but I really like it.  I typically use Weleda toothpaste, but I use the homemade stuff about once a week (too much baking soda can do more harm than good) for whitening, and too feel good and clean.” --loren

Tom's of Maine Natural Cleansing Mouthwash

Tom's of Maine Natural Cleansing Mouthwash

“I've tried two kinds of this now and will continue to buy these mouthwashes.  Instead of the harsh burning of alcohol usually found in mouthwashes, these use witchhazel; you feel the astringent property of it without the pain.  The taste/breath-smell with using this is very pleasant and not at all overwhelming... it's a much less intense but just as lasting effect as more common/mainstream...” --RumpusParable

Recycline Preserve Toothbrush

Recycline Preserve Toothbrush

“I purchased this out of curiosity/just for the heck of it when my old toothbrush needed replacing and I happened to see this.  I thought "so, it's bent, how big a deal it that, really, when using it?". I've been pleasantly surprised.  It's nothing earth-shaking, I mean it *is* just a toothbrush, but the curved handle actually does make it more comfortable to use than the straight or end-bent...” --RumpusParable
