Pros: Flushes good, great for manual refill during power outage as we are on well water. Good leaway for variations in the rough in. The toilet bolts are not continuously under water and are not being disolved by my well water.
Cons: Hardly stylish. future availability of parts in question.
“ The Venting does not meet the minimum required length to go out side? It is vented in PVC so it looks like it goes outside right behind the boiler and the minimum length is 12' with a 90 equaling 5 feet you still need 7 feet of pipe if it goes up a Chimney or alcove it should be CPVC. ” --tito
“I read the reviews here, and thought the worst problem would be the water splashing out the back, which sounded fixable, so I bought one. At first I too had water on the floor after each flush, but it wasn't coming out the back (which I'd duct taped anyway, just in case). Turned out it was leaking from the gasket between the tank & bowl, and after tightening the bolts more than I thought...” --tjwhalen
“ I bought the GE Helical energy efficient bulbs and 5 yes FIVE of them have burned out. They were in different light fixtures so it is not the fixture. These bulbs are expensive and useless. I tried to save money on electric energy and ended up wasting my money on these 'long lasting, energy efficient' bulbs that burned out faster than the old incandescent bulbs. I will...” --ginnercat
“I had the opportunity to test out this light very briefly thanks to Vinnie at Ferguson. The light appears to be extremely well constructed, on par with other high end LED's. The genius or achilles heal of this light , depending on which side your on, is that it replaces your entire recessed light baffle and trim kit (its plain white on this light). I assume this was to allow the manufacturer to...” --pgallett
“In the Huddler Featured Debate section, we discussed the benefits of bidets vs. toilet paper. I concluded that on average, the amount of toilet paper use per visit consumes nearly a quarter gallon of water (4 cups), requires trees to be cut down, and energy to be used making the toilet paper and transporting it to the store and to your home. That's a lot of resources being used just to clean...” --dana1981
“Doesn't work, couldn't work, won't work....sorry Cynthia. This is based on a valid theory used in large industrial applications, but it will not save a nickel on a residential electric bill. The demonstration is very convincing to the lay person, but it's "smoke and mirrors". I'm an electrical engineer...I know from what I speak. It's sad that companies like this prey on the good intentions of...” --
