Best dishwashing liquid I've ever used!
Pros: It's natural and green and is so good on grease you only need a few drops! Amazing stuff.
Pros: It's natural and green and is so good on grease you only need a few drops! Amazing stuff.

Pros: cheap
Cons: does not work well

Pros: better than any other soap (even other Method's soaps); easy to use bottle shape; cleans AMAZING; a little goes a long way
Cons: hard to find... I love lavender scent & stores/websites don't carry this bottle type often

Cons: bad package design and pricepoint is too much
“To be totally honest, I wouldn't say that this dish soap works WAY better than others that I've used, but it certainly works very well. I find that with Method products, the concentration is good so that I don't need nearly as much of it to do the same job. The bottle design shown is fine, but they do have another one that's really odd looking and very hard to use, so avoid...” --Deej
“I love this dishwashing liquid. All those mainstream kinds that derive their fragrance (and their suds, and everything else about them) from weird chemicals smell terrible to me now - and the scent clings to my hands and sponge for ages. Fortunately, Trader Joe's would never do that to me. When I use this dish soap, I don't have to worry about friends with chemical sensitivities. Or...” --oakling
“I have used a few Seventh Generation products, and I generally like them. This is a very good soap, with no dyes, perfumes, or chemicals, and it is reasonably effective. It suds up brilliantly, but doesn't cut grease as well as I would like, leaving a thin film on washed storage containers, and you might need to work quickly as the suds lose their effectiveness after a short time. I would...” --Draes
“works just fine, I like it better then liquid in my dishwasher.my kid can eat it and not die:)” --Evasha
“ You pay a little more for the bottle, but it lasts forever because you only need a few drops. For families who are used to using a lot, just dilute it 8 to 1. This makes my glasses absolutely sparkle! ” --CarlaHarris
“Maybe we didn't have the best dishwasher in our apartment, but unless I pre-rinsed my dishes, they didn't get completely cleaned using this product. This was especially the case with glasses that we drank chocolate soymilk in- there would still be soymilk reside in the bottom of the glass. One day if I had a new dishwasher, I would probably try it again. But with the machine we...” --nitedreamer
“I have bought the unscented in the past, but they were out of it when we went to the store. This detergent smells great though, and works wonderfully. You don't need to use a lot, the dishes get clean, it doesn't make my hands sore. And I love the quote on the bottle about how much oil is saved from making the switch! The packaging is made of at least 25% post consumer recycled...” --nitedreamer
“This product is AWESOME! It has kept the interior of my 3 year old dishwasher looking like it's never been used. My glasses sparkle and my dishes are super clean. ” --detoura1a
“I got a bottle of Dishmate dishwashing liquid as one of the prizes in the super awesome Huddler contest. It comes in many different natural scents, and the one I got is apricot. I'm actually not a fan of apricots, but the scent is very light and rather pleasant. The Dishmate doesn't make as much suds as my BioKleen or Mrs. Meyers dish soap, but it's effective at cutting...” --dana1981
“I got some of this dish soap as one of the second Huddler contest prizes, and I really like it. It's very concentrated so it creates a lot of suds from a small amount of soap, which is my main criterion for a good dish soap. It's unscented, so there's no overpowering smell. It's also biodegradable and gentle on the hands, and not too expensive. Very good stuff! It's definitely on par with...” --dana1981
