Cons: make sure steamed only
These are good...except you have to steam them...that's the only way the come out perfect. I guess that's with every frozen item?

Frozen vegetables are super nice to have on hand- they can be dumped into pasta or rice and suddenly your spaghetti's gotten fancier. There are not a lot of options for organic vegetables, but Cascadian Farms has an impressive line- your everyday mixed veggies, corn, peas, carrots....and the more exotic stirfry blends, or cut broccoli. We'd never make it through a whole head of broccoli (it's a sometimes food in this house ;) but being able to buy a frozen bag means we can add a little here and there.
They are a little on the pricey side, but the co-op near our house has some really good sales periodically, and since they are frozen, you can stock up when the price drops. The only downside for us is that Cascadian Farms uses palm oil in some of their products, and palm oil is devastating to the environment- if we had a good alternative, we'd switch brands because we don't approve of the palm oil usage.
