Pros: Slick-looking, decently priced
Cons: Lack of simple hookup wires
I bought two of these 50-watt panels as an add-on to my "Supplemental Solar" system at my home. They produce a nice amount of electricity and the price was reasonable (recently saw the price had come down $13 where I bought them - mrsolar.com. I had to wire the positive and negative leads myself as there were no MC cables or anything included with them. That wasn't too much of a problem for me as I'd done it before, but others may be disappointed by that fact. They are crisp & clean-looking and I've gotten compliments from a neighbor on the looks. They mounted easily to the Two Seas mount I bought for them, no issues whatsoever getting them mounted. All in all I'd recommend them with the caveat that you'll have to wire the positive and negative leads yourself. For someone looking for a single panel, or two, to start a small 12V battery-based system these would be a fine choice, or - as I used them - an additional couple of panels to boost the power of an existing system.
