Pros: glass, child uses them well, easy to clean
Cons: lots of peices, somewhat pricey
We had no idea that companies were still making glass bottles when we started our daughter on bottle feeding in August of 2007. When the "BPA scare" happened we started searching for a better option. We came across numerous "BPA free" bottles plastic and glass but glass bottles seemed to be the way to go for us. Glass is better for the environment overall and to me, there was a better chance that glass would last longer than any sort of plastic bottle. Though all glass were somewhat expensive we narrowed it down to Dr. Browns and born free. We picked born free because though it has a bunch of pieces it still had less than Dr. Brown's and there wasn't a straw piece that would trap bacteria like Dr. Brown's has. Overall we have been very satisfied. This product has been wonderful for our family and every time I use one I feel better about the lack of negative impacts I am making on the environment.
