Pros: organic, natural, powered by wind, company supports bee populations
Cons: has a really strong scent, leaves my hair feeling a little heavy
I really, really wanted to love BeeCeuticals conditioner. But...I'm not quite there. I've been using it for a while now, hoping that it will grow on me. And maybe by the time I finish the bottle it will have...but...it's not my favorite in terms of a conditioner.
I find the scent pretty overwhelming. Now, that scent doesn't stick with you all day (for example, I showered about three and a half hours ago and my hair doesn't smell too much like the conditioner now). But when you're putting it on in the shower, it's rather intense. In terms of how it does on my (rather thick, long hair), it's only okay. It moisturizes well enough, but I find that it leaves my hair feeling kind of heavy and weighed down even if I rinse for a while. It doesn't leave my hair particularly shiny or soft. It's just kind of eh.
That said, I am a huge fan of BeeCeuticals as a company. They're wind powered, organic, paraben free, they support organizations that are doing research into bee colony collapse. So I'll definitely try some of their other products. I just didn't find the conditioner to hit it out of the park.
