Cons: flavor is a bit strange at first
Initially I thought this cereal tasted like slightly sweetened cardboard..but then I had a few more handfuls (I eat it dry for a snack) and got addicted. Even my cat ate one haha. ;)

I'm not a fan of this cereal. It's too bland. My kids don't like it either. They end up not eating it.
All right, in full disclosure...I'm really not a sweet cereal person. I just don't like my cereal sweet. So really, Annie's isn't that sweet. In fact, the Homegrown Bunny Love version that I had is really quite nice. It's crunchy, it's in cute little X's and O's. It's 100% natural and mostly organic (75%). But it's just a tad too sweet for me, personally.
It tastes lighter than your Cheerios or what have you (not as dense...mabye more puffed up or something). While it is made with whole grains, it doesn't taste "whole grainy" so I could see it being a great option for kids.
I also really like that most of the ingredients are all real foods (i.e. not chemicals or weird stuff)...like organic oat flour and baking soda. The only question I have is what is "natural flavor?"
In any case, it is a good cereal. I just don't think I will get it again since I like 'em with zero sweetness. But that's a personal choice.
I tried these out because they were on sale at my local Elephant Pharmacy, thinking I was getting something akin to plain Cheerios. Turns out they're sweeter and lighter. This makes them super tasty, but a little less filling and nutritious than I'd like for a breakfast cereal.
