That's a very good idea since generally pizza boxes can't be recycled because of food contamination (grease), at least you're getting more use out of it before it gets tossed.

While I agree the green movement is growing and the high cost of energy is probably the driving force. I still believe the green movement isn't something that the majority of the general population subscribes to.

I don't see why you couldn't. You'd obviously have to have some sort of battery to store the electricity generated during the day for use in the evening and at night. And you'd probably also need a converter to turn the solar/battery...
