Funny cartoon about weather and global warming

This cartoon was posted in a RealClimate article.  Parts of the US have been experiencing a cold snap lately, and the cartoon captures the tone of about half the questions on Yahoo Answers Global Warming right now.

The article also discusses how some media outlets are doing a really poor job covering climate science these days.  Gavin Schmidt was interviewed for a Lou Dobbs story, and they aired about one sentence of his interview while devoting most of the story to Joseph D'Aleo (meteorologist, denier) and Dennis Avery (food policy analyst, denier).

It's an interesting RealClimate entry - I recommend reading it.

That was funny but it is saddly what I see here on a daily basis.

People tend to see what they want to see.  Of course, gas prices are low now.  It's chilly outside!  Clearly there are no problems.

Yeah that was great.  I tried to ask a question about it the other day, but Yahoo removed it.  Dorks.

I caught that before it got removed. Very clever! I particularly liked how the author used military time for years and referred to Arrhenius in the present tense in order to keep it true to Doyle's time.

How exactly do you find that funny? To each their own I guess.
