Sometimes you don't need all that visual stimulation to get solid green information.  These are some of the best of the green podcasts and radio shows out there.

The Little Green People Show: Hosted by two "Eco Chicks" Laurene von Klan and Jill Riddell, this podcast is all about sustainable living.  Each episode answers listener questions, offers expert advice, and delivers commentary on all the opportunities and challenges faced by the average urban dweller trying to go green. 

Living Green: Effortless Ecology for Everyday People: This podcast is hosted by Meredith Medland.  She hosts a variety of guests like Andre Angelantoni (an expert on peak oil) and Janine Benyus of the Biomimicry Institute.  Medland and her guests offer practical how-to advice on carbon credits, green building, eco-tourism, renewable energy, and much more.

More Hip Than Hippie:  This podcast is hosted by Dori and Val.  As they say in their About Us, "if you're craving a granola chewing, off-grid podcast - you're probably in the wrong place."  They offer up 30 minute casts that are all about fun, upbeat information on sustainability that is convenient, stylish, and affordable. 

Driving Green:  Hosted by Dawn Van Zant, this podcast delves into the world of green transportation.  It covers new technology, fuels, and trends.  Topics include public and private companies with alternative technology and fuels, research and trends, industry experts, as well as the information resources available to make educated decisions.

Inside Renewable Energy:  This podcast is hosted by Stephen Lacey and is produced by RenewableEnergyWorld.com.  And in a nutshell, well, it covers everything and anything renewable energy.  If your passion is photovoltaics, hydropower, international policy, biodiesel, or solar LED technology, this podcast is for you.

NPR Environment:  Environmental science and reporting on issues from Morning Edition, All Things Considered and other award-winning NPR programs.
