Corrupt Corporate Scams
Notice how the public is being ripped off with impunity by the large corporate giants. Go online and do a search to see the thousands of people who were scammed by Maytag into buying their junk washing machines, now owned by Whirlpool. Hardworking Americans dished out over a thousand dollars ($1,000+) for each washer, only to find them filled with un-cleanable mold and mildew 6 months or a year down the road. What happened? Maytag sold out to Whirlpool, and the innocent public is left holding the bag - no more remedies. There was a quick "class action suit", which most customers were never even notified had occurred, and now that the matter was adjudicated, and the company got a small slap on the wrist, THERE IS NO REMEDY for the consumer. They can just throw out their thousand-dollar machines that they were sold as "top of the line". Short term lesson: DO NOT BUY Whirlpool which now owns this junk company, Maytag. And DO NOT BUY any of their brands, which include AMANA, ESTATE, ROPER (look up the others). Long term lesson: Pester your Congress people and your Attorney Generals to police the corporations and hold them accountable. Complain with a loud voice. Write letters to local newspapers, and expose the corruption in corporate America. And remember, DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL or their brands.
